What we check
- Can it open your site? Some firewalls and bot protection turn automated visitors away, even when people get through.
- Does robots.txt allow it? We check the tools that open pages to answer a question, the ones that collect pages for AI search, and the ones that collect pages for training.
- Is your content in the page? Many AI crawlers don't run JavaScript, so a site that builds its content in the browser can look empty to them.
- Can it tell what the page is about? We look for a title, a description and structured data.
- Can it find your other pages? We look for a sitemap and an llms.txt file.
What this can't tell you
This checks your home page and public files once. It can't see a firewall rule that treats real AI tools differently from our check, and it can't tell you whether an AI recommends you. To see which AI tools really read your pages and send you visitors, you need to measure it over time, which is what Seebly does.
