Seebly

Seebly brand book

Everything someone needs to make something that looks and sounds like Seebly. Version 1 · 2026-10-31.

The idea

See the humans. And every AI that read your page. Seebly is honest analytics for the AI era: real people by default, bots shown rather than hidden, and AI traffic treated as its own thing. The brand should feel like a friendly, sharp-eyed companion, never like an admin panel.

Do

Use the files below as they are.

Put the lockup on near-black or paper backgrounds.

Let the mascot react: happy for a first visit, curious for an empty state.

Don't

Recolour the mark, stretch it, add shadows or outlines.

Change the eyes, add a mouth expression that mocks users, or give it new limbs.

Write "SeeBly", "SEEBLY" or "See-bly".

The mascot

The Seebly mascot

A round, lime "watcher" with two big, curious eyes: always looking, always counting. Small ear tufts give it alertness; little arms and feet give it personality in illustrations.

Use it to make empty, loading, success and error moments feel human. It never speaks in the UI and never appears in data visualisations.

Colour

Two meanings, used consistently: lime is people, violet is AI. Dark is the default theme.

Lime#C6F432People, primary buttons, highlights (dark theme)
Violet#A78BFAEverything AI (dark theme)
Ink#0A0B0DDark background, text on lime
Surface#121418Cards on dark
Snow#F4F5F7Text on dark
Moss#4D7C0FPeople / primary (light theme)
Grape#7C3AEDAI (light theme)

Good#4ADE80Ups and success (dark)
Rose#FB7185Downs and errors (dark)

Type

Geist for everything, Geist Mono for code, snippets and anything you'd copy. Both are free under the SIL Open Font Licence and served from seebly.io (no third-party requests).

2,418 humans

Headlines: Geist 600 (800 is for the wordmark only), tight tracking (−3 to −4.5%). Body: Geist 400–500, normal tracking.

Voice

Plain English for people who build things, not analysts. Short sentences. Numbers first, then what they mean. Honest about uncertainty. Warm, never cute in a way that hides information.

Write

"73 people visited this week, up from 25."

"AI assistants fetched your pages 87 times while answering questions."

"We filtered 596 likely bots. Show them?"

Not

"Sessions increased 192% WoW."

"LLM crawler ingestion events detected."

"Invalid traffic has been excluded."
